Biography
Alex Avenue (Alessandro Gilardi) began his career in 1991 as
a producer and studio director of the crossover label Time Records
which was best known for the success of 'Destination Unknown'
by Alex Gaudino. This is where he has wrote, composed and produced
other chart topping hits including USURA 'Open Your Mind' and
Jinny 'Keep Warm' that both entered the Top 10s across Europe
and the US Top 20 Billboard Chart. He has already had more than
200 international releases under his belt in collaboration with
other respected musicians and as a soloist.
After a more recent crossing of paths with Ivan Klass, Alessandro
and Ivan conceived the distinctive dance/house project 'Alex
Avenue'. Already, Alex Avenue's track's have achieved entries
in Top 20 charts across major online stores in Europe and received
an abundance of recognition from key players in the dance music
scene.
Major labels, Universal Music France, and the Music Network
Group, have touted Alex Avenue for incredible success on the
cotenant and signed 'Looking For Love', that has already sold
more than 5000 units on downloads alone. After the success of
this track, Universal were quick to snap up the follow-up, 'Emotion'.
The man behind Alex Avenue has a wealth of experience under his belt,
which has given him the expertise to take advantage of this extremely
fast paced rise to prominence in the commercial dance music scene.
