Biography
Damian's career has bestowed him the privilege to work with
and play alongside some of the world's most prolific DJs and
producers today. After a 6 year strong relationship with Ministry
Of Sound providing him with unrivalled experience behind the
decks, he is now taking time to develop his production portfolio
and while touring Europe.
Influences come from the likes of Eric Prydz, Steve Lawler and
James Zabiela… Damian blends together a variety of music genres,
crafting a distinctive style of electronic, tech house.
At the tender age of 21 Damian was recognized for his talents
and subsequently invited to take the position of resident DJ
at the first ever Ministry of Sound venue outside of the UK…Bangkok,
Thailand. Damian wasn't to realize this would lead him to become
the future resident for the Ministry of Sound in Taipei and
later, Singapore where he settled for the remainder of his relationship
with Ministry Of Sound.
Damian's career with MoS lasted 6 years, blessing him with the
honour of opening for the likes of Paul van Dyk, Sebastian Leger,
Danny Howells, Nic Fanciulli and Paul Oakenfold to name only
a few.
Since embarking on the residency in Bangkok, Damian was soon
invited to play across the continent, playing in Thailand, Singapore,
Seoul, Jakarta, Vietnam, the list goes on as Damian has quite
literally covered every square inch of that place… touring under
the Bacardi Blast party and duly obliging when asked to perform
at Global Gathering, Malaysia. Damian's proficiency behind the
decks also earned him the opportunities to host private parties
for GQ Mag, FHM and Mercedes, as well as the MTV's Summer Gala
Party.
His reputation in Asia has understandably grown to be amongst
that of some of the highest respected DJs in the world. He now
intends to use the well founded knowledge and experience gained
over the past eight years as a DJ, to inspire his second passion
that only seems natural - Production. With a number of production
and remix projects in the pipeline, Damian Saint is soon to
become a familiar name amongst the house music community.
