Twisted Rhythm is the captivating DJ act consisting of Stewart
Milne and Martin Murphy. Between the two of them they have more
than 20 years experience in the house music industry. The duo
conceived Twisted Rhythm in 2003, using their combined experience
to provide a platform from which to launch their productions.
While being a reasonably fresh brand Twisted Rhythm has already
accomplished releases on Barcoda, M.o.D, Refunkt Records, Kinky
Malinki, Reel House and Double Shock Recordings. Their productions
have generate opportunities for them to work with some of house
music's most gifted producers, namely, Central Avenue, Joey
Musaphia, Clifford Williams and Souldynamic.
Representing themselves and the collective Twisted Rhythm, Martin
and Stewart have made appearances at some the UK's and Europe's
most prestigious events including Garage City, Rouge, Hidden,
Turnmills and Mint Club.
With Martin's influences coming from Grant Nelson, Ron Carroll,
Junior Jack and Soul Avengerz, he provides the tougher, funkier
edge, while Stewart's influences, primarily consisting of CJ
Macintosh, Jamie Lewis and Audiowhores, give him the aptitude
to supply the soulful ingredients of the distinctive Twisted
Rhythm sound; its no wonder this partnership has accomplished
so much since the pair executed the conception of Twisted Rhythm
in 2003.
