Biography

Maxie Devine and Veerus have been reeling out productions and remixes of the highest quality since their collaboration. Their discography includes remixes for Fatboy Slim, Steve Angello, Mark Knight and Funkagenda and support for their work is coming from the very top, including Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Carl Cox.

Maixes Devine’s career as a producer began when he undertook various collaborations with Christian Hornbostel for PRG, which has been an importer of a number of successes including Junk Project and Trancetters. His first techno hit was entitled KABAL - LIVE Vol. 1 on Italian PRG that rose to the top of the European techno charts! Another notable production under the same alias (Kabal) is Soul to Bare, which was produced with John 00 Fleming. Maxie Devine worked with John 00 Fleminig on a number of tracks that were released on various Italian labels including Media Records, Alabianca, Subway and Anthem.

Veerus began producing seriously and working in a number of studios around Venice in 1999. In addition to producing and working on remixes for some of the biggest artists around today, Veerus has built up vast experience working for Orgasmatron and Electroset radio stations.

The year 2002 saw the beginnings of the now prolific and undeniably successful partnerships between Veerus and Maxie Devine, and Joel Key when they founded the techno label, Megahertz. Elenoire Mademoiselle De Paris is another project undertaken by this inexhaustible collaboration.

The productions created by this duo were first taken seriously by Steve Angello... In 2006 they signed to Size Records for their Megatonic EP and since then, the double act have been privileged enough to work with some of the world’s most renowned label’s, notably, Refune Recrods, Drop It, Play Digital, Sharkarts and Suesse, as well as Fatboy Slim’s Skint Records. The success of their partnership has provided them with the platform to work with and gather support from some of the most influential DJs and producers today, including Mark Knight, Wally Lopez, Swedish Mafia, Pete Tong, Hector Romero, Joachim Garraud, Sander Van Doorn, Matt Darey, Sandy Rivera and many many more.

As DJ’s, Veerus and Maxie Devine are playing in various clubs around Italy and making regular appearances in some of the best clubs in Poland and Slovakia. Currently Maxie Devine holds a residency at a remarkable afterhours event in Italy called Moog Morning Session.
